The Absolute Cheapest Air Suspension Fork I Tested - RST F1RST.

Where to buy the RST F1RST fork: http://tidd.ly/fba7b9ca
Where to buy the Manitou Markhor: http://tidd.ly/4b997ade

Manitou Markhor test:

Tourq Ki : Wich is better rst or epixon?
Zyre Cajegas : Ive been using RST for 3 years. And i do harder trail than you. But i dont even feel anything on my fork that will disapoint me
Thomas The Offroad Train : Put oil on the fork

Dont ever put greas cuz greas can litteraly make dust and small rocks stick on the stanchions and posibly damage the fork if it gets in the seals and rub against the stanchions and scratch it
Takumi : Your front wheel looks really bent, xou should true it a bit
Stu Redman : Bolany and Lutu forks are way better

How To Disassemble/Clean/Lube/Re-assemble RST 191 CS Fork/Shocks

I show how to tear down, lubricate, and rebuild RST 191CS suspension forks/shocks. These shocks were on a Trek 820 mountain bike. Basic maintenance/service to keep your suspension working and from becoming stiff or frozen. The grease I used is Slickoleum AKA Slick Honey.

* Use grease made for forks. I use Slickoleum which is also sold under the name Slick Honey. You can also use SRAM Butter or Judy Butter. If the fork uses oil, use the proper fork oil. Use of a grease/oil not made specifically for forks can damage the plastic/polyurethane parts, or otherwise leave the fork not working properly.

evo123rs : Great post. This is true recycling. You have a great approach and I'm sure you give others the confidence to do more of their own maintenance. Thanks
chubbles365 : Exactly the info I needed thank you for helping me save my forks.
Ansiktsburk : Great video as usual! What I've done to unscrew the bolts is to tug on the bolts themselves. First by wedging a screwdriver under the bolt head, and once that wasn't enough, if I remember correctly, I wrapped a wire or a zip tie around the head and pulled on it as I unscrewed. That seemed enough to make the inside bits lodge themselves to the inside of the bottoms. It might have just been that fork though, it was pretty gritty inside.
Ben Frans : That was exactly what I needed. You're a great instructor. Thanks!

RST Gila Pro Fork Service - Disassemble/Clean/Lube/Re-assemble

I show how to overhaul RST Gila Pro forks/shocks. I also fixed the lockout lever which was not working. RST recommends this maintenance be done "Every 4 weeks or 25-30 hours of riding or whenever the performance of the fork has diminished(whichever occurs first)." Basic service to keep your suspension working and from becoming stiff or frozen. This bike is a 2009 Cannondale F7

Timothy Vine : I've noticed 2 things watching you. 1. You a really good at working on bikes and explaining what you are doing. 2. Someone drinks a lot of soft drink at your house.

Norby45 : Thanks a million for the video.. Used it as a guideline for my 2018 RST Gila 100mm, and it worked flawlessly.. Now I don't need to buy a new fork for a while. If anything, I've made my suspension buttery smooth!! Thank you!

(edit) Also followed and did your DIY preload adjuster cap ratchet socket.. Works like a charm. Brilliant ideas!
